Weka is a unique blend of instrumental and electronic music, drawing from global influences while grounded in nature. Inspired by the Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, Bonobo and local musicians like Module and Rhian Sheehan, the music moves from ethereal ambient through to melodic upbeat dance, with backings on keyboard, guitar and drums.

Frontman Angus Woodhams contributed to The Performance Arcade's Live Arts series from 2011-2014 and we're thrilled to welcome him to The Fortune Favours Live Music Series in 2024.
