Grace Duncan

8:30 Wed 21 Feb

Indie Folk
(Pōneke / Wellington)

Raised in Heretaunga (Hastings), and now living in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington), indie-folk singer-songwriter and composer Grace Duncan will enchant you with her lilting voice, reflective lyrics and meditative melodies.

Grace and her band will invite you to slow down, relax, and reflect on themes of mental and emotional health, purpose, and identity as your day comes to a gentle close. Grace will be performing pieces from her debut album 'Ruminations,' as well as unreleased songs that are sure to captivate the audience, weaving together vocals, guitar, violin, taonga pūoro, and percussion to tell new and old stories alike.

Spending time with Grace and the band might spark recollections of the sounds of other iconic Aotearoa artists like Brooke Fraser and Holly Arrowsmith.
