About the work
Nicole Andrews is a singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon, who has established herself in the local Wellington music scene over the last decade.
This will be Nicole’s first major performance since returning to the scene after an unexpected hiatus eight years ago, shaped by the pandemic. Nicole returns with trip hop and industrial inspired songs, where she pairs haunting vocals with piano, distortion, bass and electronic beats.
Before her break, she was known for her intimate piano-driven sound and later transitioned to a moody synth-driven electronic landscape of her second record. Nicole takes deliberate shifts to broaden her music pallet with each album.
She will be performing unreleased works from her highly anticipated third album, to be released in 2026. This music represents both a return and a reinvention. For the first time, Nicole is writing, producing and recording all elements of the album herself.
