About the work
Afro-Kiwi artist InDuna, born in South Africa and now based in Wellington, creates a live experience that fuses vibrant Afro-pop rhythms with modern electronic production. His performances are high-energy, uplifting, and immersive, blending infectious grooves, soulful vocals, and dynamic instrumentation that bring audiences together through rhythm and culture.
This year, InDuna released his EP Go High, which debuted at #16 on the Official Top 20 Aotearoa Albums Chart, marking a milestone in his growing career. He has headlined shows in Wellington and Auckland, and has shared the stage with internationally renowned artists, including Deva Mahal and Jess B.
His live sets feature a tight combination of electronic production, live drums, and compelling stage presence, making every show a celebration of sound, movement, and connection.
InDuna’s artistry has been recognised internationally: in 2024, he received The King’s Trust Young Global Achiever Award (formerly The Prince’s Trust), celebrated at Buckingham Palace with founding patron King Charles III in attendance.
Rooted in his South African heritage yet thriving in New Zealand, InDuna’s music and performances reflect a journey of cultural pride, innovation, and joy.
