About the work
Little Landscapes is a sensory and intimate theatre performance designed for young children (aged 4–9) and their grown-ups. Rooted in the textures and patterns of the natural world, the work invites audiences into a quiet, playful environment where tiny worlds unfurl and imagination meets memory.
This highly interactive show offers a moment of pause and meaningful play for you and your child in a busy world.
The project is informed by Schema Learning theory, with a particular focus on enclosure, enveloping, positioning, and connection, patterns of play that naturally emerge in early childhood. These schemas are woven seamlessly into the performance structure, inviting intuitive engagement and gentle exploration.
Little Landscapes has a runtime of approximately 25 minutes.
Little Landscapes is intended to be a small show and only has space for 5 children and 5 grown-ups at a time.
Performances are rolling throughout the day from 11am–2pm, so if you arrive and the show is full, you can wait or return for the next time slot.
For day time shows all adults must be accompanied by a child.
